Oyster Grow Kit Instructions

Important: Do not cut open the block until it is fully colonized with mycelium.

Setup Instructions

1. Cut the bag
   Using a clean, sharp blade, cut along the marked “X.”

2. Remove excess air
   Gently squeeze out all the air from the bag.
   Secure the plastic tightly against the block with tape.
   Note: If air remains in the bag, mushrooms may begin growing inside instead of outside.

3. Choose the right location
   Place the kit in a spot away from direct sunlight and drafts.
   A kitchen counter is often an ideal location.

4. Maintain humidity
   Lightly mist the air around the bag, not directly on the mushrooms.
   Alternatively, place the kit on top of a damp towel or in a shallow pan with water to help maintain moisture.

Care Tips

• Avoid spraying water directly onto the developing mushrooms, as this can damage them.

• Consistent humidity and indirect light will encourage healthy growth.
